21. Getting Out Of A Negative Funk

How many of you have bad days? Weeks? Months? Years?

Okay, good. So it's not just me. We all have them. Those moments where everything that could be going wrong, is and everything we want seems so out of reach. It's like the saying "when it rains, it pours" except for the forecast predicts 100% rain for the foreseeable future.

All right, it ain't that bad. But this past week or so has really been challenging for me. I feel like I've had this dark cloud hovered over my head like those cartoons and no matter which path I take it's still there. If you're not able to catch the signs BEFORE you go in a funk, it could be a deep rabbit hole that is tough to get out of.

That's why, through my own experience, I'm bringing my advice of what I've done to the show. My podcast has always been an honest + vulnerable space and this is a perfect example. Life hasn't been perfect or Instagram worthy. (Because no one wants to see Lo eating Ben & Jerry's cookie core ice cream while watching Revenge. I promise you!)

Bad days come & go. But what if they last for a week? What if getting out of bed is the biggest chore on your to-do list? What if your future scares you so much that you isolate yourself from all the people around you? I've been there recently and spoiler alert, everything will be okay. If you've been feeling down in the dumps, living in a fearful state or just really uncertain of everything around you, this show is for you.
